INTRODUCTION

The theory of the NEW, 2008 Azurii Designs, is "ART is Science". [2008, c, Azurii Designs, 1998. All Rights Reserved.]

FORMULA: [A + "d"] x "M" = SD

[A + d]M = S.D. or "The "S" [SCIENCE], of "D" [DESIGN]." See below for an explanation.

THEORY

A good web site starts with a good set of rules of construction. (i.e. A Good Set of Rules of Laws, or Principles.) This is also known as a, "Good Foundation".

For example, the premise, "ART is Science" is an artificial construct, and/or a "Principle" of Law.

We know it is true, that ART is Science, in fact.

But how does one go about proving this, as a premise, or deduction of science?

Let's find out.

HYPOTHESIS: "ART is Science"

This is the Science part of the test.

RULE 1: We know, if the "Parent" of "d", i.e. "design" or an "idea", is "D", DESIGN;
Then, the Child of D or DESIGN is , "d" or the idea of the "Design" itself.

Thus, if this is true, "d" (or an "idea" of this Design) is equal to "D", the final DESIGN, in concept.

But "D", is not necessarily equal to "d", because a Parent offers more substance than an independent, individual Child. The Child is equal to the Parent, but the Parent might be greater than the Child.

That does not mean it is true that the end result, or Final DESIGN is equal to just the initial "thought" or the design premise or idea.

Therefore, we know that "d"="D", but "D" does not equal "d".

RULE 2: We also know, hypothetically, that [Art + Design, i.e. an "idea"] x Marketing, i.e. "Business" or "Money" = the "Science of DESIGN", abbreviated as "SD", or "success".

This we know as a basic tenet of business. (ART + design) x "Good Marketing", i.e. Good Business = The "BUSINESS" of Good DESIGN; or the SCIENCE OF DESIGN.

The example I am using for this working illustration is the "Business of 'WEB DESIGN'".

RULE 3: THUS, the formula is, [ART ("A") + design ("d")] x GOOD MARKETING ("M"), or GOOD MONEY = The SCIENCE ("S") of GOOD ("D") WEB DESIGN, or, "SD"; or the BUSINESS of GOOD WEB DESIGN. The End Point, or end result of your business.

CONCLUSION: [A + d]M = S.D. [2008, Azurii Designs]

THEREFORE

[A + d]M = S.D.

  1. [A + d] x M = SD
  2. SD = "S.D."
  3. d = D, but "D" does not per se equal "d".
  4. M x "A" + M x "d" = MA + Md
  5. Thus, MA + Md = SD
  6. MA + Md - [Md] = SD - [Md]
  7. Thus, MA = SD - Md
  8. d = D.
  9. Thus, SD - Md = "S - M"
  10. So, MA = S - M
  11. MA x [1/M] = S - M x [1/M]
  12. S - M x 1/M = "S"
  13. MA x 1/M = A
  14. Therefore, "A = S"
  15. OR, "ART = Science". (In General. Not delimited by the word "DESIGN".)
  16. [In English, "=" is generally regarded as equal to the word "is".]
  17. Thus, ART = Science, means "ART is Science".

CONCLUSION

Therefore, ART is Science. Thus, all good web site designs start with a good idea,
and then a better plan.
