Sample Tags Top meta tag sites for November, 1998. Which sites showed up the most. What tags did they use? What were the tags of some sites that didn't make it? Can any conclusions be drawn from research? Simple tags worked best for this survey. Domain name did not have much of an impact. Consistent variety of tutorials, generators, and e-mags showing up. Top placing sites showed up in less than 50% of all engines surveyed. See Article for more.
Sample Tags II Top meta tag sites for February, 1999. All common ground found in first survey was gone this time around. A wide variety of different sites came up. Site that reached the top most only made it to 25% of all of the search engines polled. Note: some search engines produce the same results. Domain name more important here.
